Third Beach (View North)

This is my third view of Third Beach, this time looking North across the crowded beach towards the shore and mountains of West Vancouver. I always like to include some local humanity in my paintings and this composition was very much an ode to Georges Seurat’s, ‘A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,’ without all the clothing and pointillism.
