Xantrex Design Concept Illustrations

1999. Digital artwork

In the 90s I was called upon by Burnaby, BC, electronics engineering company, Xantrex, to provide graphic design for their marketing print collateral. They also had me delve into some industrial design, drawing up looks for their line of power supplies.

The pair of power supplies above where rendered using Adobe’s first vector-based 3D app, Adobe Dimensions, along with Adobe Illustrator. The concept was to develop a single control panel that would fit two different rack mount form factors. Also, to consider a lighter colour scheme rather than their existing black/dark grey look.
