September 18. Well, this isn't Amsterdam, it's Vancouver. This is the airplane that's about to take me to Amsterdam. It's one of KLM's Boeing 767-300s. The flight takes 9 hours, 15 miniutes going, and roughly 10 hours coming back. I think this kind of aircraft is too small and cramped for trans-Atlantic flights but the price was right.

September 19. This is Amsterdam's Schispol Airport where I waited 6 hours for my connecting(?) flight to Glasgow. This is the aircraft, a Fokker 100:17. The best part of the flight was sitting next to a beautiful Scottish scientist. I forgot her name. I hope she reads this -- email me!
